I recently finished Slayer by Kiersten White. I gave this book 3.7 out of 5 stars on Goodreads. You can see more about what this book is about here before heading in to my review. Hopping on in to the review. I started this because it sounded interesting and because I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That being said I have not finished all of the season of Buffy, which you probably should do before reading this book. Although I was able to figure out most things with a few quick google searches but if you don't want to be spoiled you should definitely watch all of the series before reading Slayer.
I did enjoy this novel. I do wish it would have been a little faster and not so slow there were so many parts that were just down time or Nina fighting with herself. I think this could have been cut out. To avoid spoilers I won't say what shes fighting about so you'll just have to read to find out. I also like the other characters in the book like Rhy's, Cillian and Leo and the mystery aspect was pretty well written as to who the bad guy is. Again I just wish it would have been a little faster.
I think this is an interesting read especially if you really like Buffy and have watched all the series. I would definitely think you would enjoy this one. If you have you should definitely try watching Buffy and then give this a read.
