Book Review: Pebble in the Dark

Hi everyone,
I recently finished Pebble in the Dark by Antony Botting. I gave this book 4.5 out of 5 stars on Goodreads. You can see more about what this book is about here before heading in to my review.

First off, I would like to thank the author for sending me this book and the second book in this series. I am so thankful and I never expected that I would ever receive anything from anyone ever. So this is totally awesome and so cool!

Now hopping on in to the review.:
I really enjoyed this book and found it very entertaining, especially since it is a debut book. Things that I really enjoyed about this book was the tone, pace and actual story. It's totally appropriate for the type of story were being told since this is a sci-fi thriller. As I was reading it, it really reminded me of Atomic Blonde and the whole government espionage type situation. I also liked that our characters and the country's were that of a typical spy/espionage story. I also liked that it was really fast paced and there was a bit of a mystery to is since there was so much hype built up around what the Pebble exactly is. I do wish there was a little bit more detail about the pebble itself but since this is a series we should get more information as the story progress in the other books. On that note I really liked that there was an undertone of sci-fi through the use of technology. I won't spoil it so go read this book to see how its interwoven in to the story. Overall, I think that the actual story is very interesting and that as a first book we're setting up for a good series.

Thanks for reading,  please don’t forget to like, comment, and follow for more of my posts.

I absolutely love decorating my planner. I thought I’d start sharing them with you so maybe you could get some inspiration too.

To the side is photo of my week for

Link to stickers I used this week: This week I decided to doodle again and make the spread patriotic since Thursday is the 4th of July or Independence day here in the states. I think it came out pretty cute and is really simple to do.
