"2022 New Years Resolution" Book Tag

I haven't done a book tag in so long I thought this would be fun. I found this over on the Golden Books Girl book blog. You can see her answers here. So let's hop on into his tag.

An author you’d like to read that you’ve never read:

These are two authors and books that I really want to get to. I have seen so many things about each of these books. There is a lot of hype about them. I definitely want to see if they are worth it.

A book you’d like to read:

Okay, I'll try and pick one out of my huge TBR list. Zodiac Academy is one that I recently added its also on Amazon Prime reading. I'd really like to read this one.

A classic you’d like to read:

So I'm not much on reading "classics." But I think Dune is considered a classic in science fiction. So I would like to read it and really the series. I watch the new movie that came out on HBO and thought it was fascinating. I would really like to know more about this world so maybe eventually I'll pick this up.

A book you’d like to re-read:

I am not much of a rereader but these two series have been on my reread list. I love the Lux series and really wanted to revisit it. It was what got me into book blogging. And of course Harry Potter. I read all these books back when I was in high school one summer so I definitely think they deserve a reread at this point.

A book you’ve had for ages and want to read:

This book has been on the TBR for way too long I really need to read it. I know there is a lot of hype about it though so I hope when I do get to it, it is as good as everyone says it is.

A big book you’d like to read:

Another one that I have had on the shelf for a while is Crescent City I would really like to get to the eventually too. It's also a pretty hefty book at 800 and some pages.

An author you’ve previously read and would like to read more of:

This is impossible there are so many I have such a long TBR list. This is just one I really fell in love with this author when I read Neon Gods. Which was incredible so I definitely want to read more of her books.

A book you got for Christmas and would like to read:

I got Ready Player Two for Christmas. I loved ready Player One so much both the book and the movie even though they were completely different from each other. They were both amazing. Id' really like to get to it soon.

A series you want to read from start to finish:

I think this cycle fits this question. I halfway started the first one on this series but haven't finished it yet so I would really like to get this series started and finished probably not this year but we'll see.

A series you want to finish that you’ve already started:

I have been so scared to finish this series. I am on the third book and I just would hate for it to end. Both the first and the second book were so good. I loved them so maybe I'll eventually get the courage to finish this series.

Do you set reading goals? If so, how many books do you want to read in 2020?

Yes, I set a loose goal on Goodreads to see if I can make it to 20ish 25 books. I would love to be able to read more and get a higher number of books read but there is just not enough time it seems. I think I set my goal for this year to be exactly 20 books so I'm hoping I can make that.

What goals do you have for this year in reading? Let me know in the comments below.
