Back To School Outfits 2017

Hi everyone, Today I thought I bring you some outfit inspiration for back to school. All these outfits are dress code appropriate except for maybe a few accessories. These are for inspiration and what is still available it linked to the side.

Outfit number one is a super comfy tee shirt dress (on me this is dress code or what was my high school dress code since it comes below my finger tips), a pair a white Ked type tennis shoes, a white watch and  a cute hat. I know not everyone can wear hats during school but you can always wear it to school and take it off when class starts, I used to do that a lot back when I was in school.
Links to outfit or similar pieces:
Dress: The link is to a gray dress but it is the same style.

Outfit number two is a maxi dress that got a chiffon pink over lay so its light weight and cool. I paired it with a belt and a pair of gold earrings and black sparkle sandals. This is school appropriate since the straps are more than an inch wide and its a maxi so no worries about the length.
Dress: My dress is no longer available, but the one linked it similar in color.

Outfit number three is a yellow tunic top, a skinny belt, Lularoe leggings, a long necklace and flop flops. This outfit is super comfortable since the leggings are from Lularoe. I think this would be great for one of those days that you want to look nice but still be lazy.
Top: This top is the same color and a similar style to mine. Since mine is no longer available.
Necklace: This is an all gold necklace with similar layering features.
Leggings: These are from Lularoe so go check out a local consultant or check on Facebook, Ebay theres a ton on those

The fourth outfit is this really pretty teal maxi skirt, a white top, silver sparkle Ked type tennis shoes (there will be a DIY for these coming soon), a white watch a a pink and teal rinestone necklace.
Top: I know that the top linked says strapless but if you pull it up instead of wearing it off the shoulder it will be dress code.
Necklace: this necklace is super similar to the one I have.
Glitter tennis shoes

The Fifth outfit is this super fabulous tee shirt, floral shorts, a sleeveless kimono, some gladiator sandals, a choker necklace and a watch.  This is perfect for a day you wanna be super cute and comfortable. Plus this is shirt is super adorable with its graphic of a unicorn.
Kimono: This is a really similar one with a slightly different lace pattern
Shorts: these shorts are a similar floral pattern.

Duology Review: The Crown's Game

I recently read The Crown's Game & The Crown's Fate  by  Evelyn Skye.  This is a duology. So if your in to short series this is perfect for you.
I gave The Crown's Game 4.5 out of 5 stars on GoodReads. I gave The Crown's Fate 4.5 out of 5 stars on GoodReads.
This is the GoodReads Synopsis for The Crown's Game:
"Vika Andreyeva can summon the snow and turn ash into gold. Nikolai Karimov can see through walls and conjure bridges out of thin air. They are enchanters—the only two in Russia—and with the Ottoman Empire and the Kazakhs threatening, the tsar needs a powerful enchanter by his side.

And so he initiates the Crown’s Game, an ancient duel of magical skill—the greatest test an enchanter will ever know. The victor becomes the Imperial Enchanter and the tsar’s most respected adviser. The defeated is sentenced to death.

Raised on tiny Ovchinin Island her whole life, Vika is eager for the chance to show off her talent in the grand capital of Saint Petersburg. But can she kill another enchanter—even when his magic calls to her like nothing else ever has?

For Nikolai, an orphan, the Crown’s Game is the chance of a lifetime. But his deadly opponent is a force to be reckoned with—beautiful, whip-smart, imaginative—and he can’t stop thinking about her.

And when Pasha, Nikolai’s best friend and heir to the throne, also starts to fall for the mysterious enchantress, Nikolai must defeat the girl they both love…or be killed himself.
As long-buried secrets emerge, threatening the future of the empire, it becomes dangerously clear—the Crown’s Game is not one to lose."

On with the review, I won't go in to much detail about The Crown's Fate since it is the second one so no spoilers. I think this was a great start in a high fantasy world. Since this series is only a duology, it is very fast paced and pretty easy to follow. I really enjoyed the setting of the story. It's set in imperial Russia so it adds to the over all grandness and feeling of the world. Second thing I really like was the magic. Some of the scenes are super imaginative when it comes to the magic users and their abilities.Since this is a competition between to Enchanters we get to see how different each of the two's abilities are. Third thing I really liked was the writing style the language used was very easy to read and beautiful.

In The Crown's Fate we continue on with everything that has happened in The Crown's Game. I almost enjoyed the second one more since it wrapped up everything and had a great ending. Again it writing style was really beautiful even though there wasn't as much importance placed on magic like in the first book.

I do definitely recommended this duology to everyone. It's that good. Please go check it out.

The Summer Book Tag

Summer Book Tag

1. What book cover makes you think of summer?
When  I think of a summer cover Since You Been Gone by Morgan Matson comes to mind. It just looks like a good summer day on the cover.

2. What book has brightened your day?

I don't really read a lot of bright books but one book that did make me laugh was Rebel Bell by Rachel Hawkins.

3. Name a book with yellow on it.

The book I choose for this was The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. It had yellow and definitely looks like summer.

4. What is your favorite summer beach read?
This summer I read a few books while I was at the beach but my favorite was Shades of Earth By Beth Revis. (P.s This book cover is way better than the US addition, I believe this is the UK cover art.)

5. What action book had you running for the ice cream man?

One book that I guess you could say had me "running to the ice cream man" was Poison Princess by Kresley Cole. This was super action packed from the beginning to the end. Be on the look out for a book review of this one.

6. What book has left you with a bad ending?
I choose Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan. I couldn't even make it to the end of this one it was so bad.

7. What book gave you the happiest feeling when it ended?
A book that gave me a super happy feeling at the end was The Crowns Fate by Evlyn Skye. Omg this was such a good end to a series. There will be a book review coming soon for this one so don't miss it.

8. What book cover reminds you of a sunset?
A book that makes me think of the sunset is Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Mass. There's lots of reds and oranges on this one.

9. What is one book series you hope to read this summer?
I really wanted to get through the Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis for this summer. This trilogy is comprised of 1. Across the Universe 2. A Million Suns and 3. Shades of Earth; I hope to have a series review for this trilogy coming soon.
