Book Review: These Broken Stars

Hi everyone,
Today I'll be sharing with you a my book review of These Broken Stars By Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars on GoodReads. The is the GoodReads synopsis "Luxury spaceliner Icarus suddenly plummets from hyperspace into the nearest planet. Lilac LaRoux and Tarver Merendsen survive – alone. Lilac is the daughter of the richest man in the universe. Tarver comes from nothing, a cynical war hero. Both journey across the eerie deserted terrain for help. Everything changes when they uncover the truth. 

The Starbound Trilogy: Three worlds. Three love stories. One enemy." 
This will be a spoiler free review.


I really enjoyed this book because it really reminded me of the movie Titanic but in space and instead of the ship sinking it crashes on to a foreign planet. I also really liked the contrast between the main characters and that we as the reader get both points of view when reading through the story. Since we're on characters Lilac totally remind me of myself since she is very into fashion and refused to lose her designer heels until completely necessary. Super like me never to part with a pair of shoes.
I think over all this was a well written book I usually don't like when there are dual points of view cause it can get a bit confusing. Especially if the characters have a similar voice but in this one there are two distinct voices. I think over all this is a very entertaining book and once you get going you aren't going to want to put it down. I definitely recommend that you give this one a read if you are in to Sic-Fi with a bit of romance.
